Oursin Atelier was born from a desire to keep meaningful pieces close to the heart. Co-founded by Naomi and Raquel, Oursin is a love letter to heritage, craft, and the quiet power of individuality.

From Haïti, we’ve always been drawn to objects with a story: a necklace passed down, a material shaped by hand, something you wear not just to accessorize, but to cherish.

At the core of Oursin Atelier is natural horn, sourced responsibly and carved using traditional Haitian techniques that have been passed down through generations of artisans. Every pendant is made in small batches, by hand. No two are ever quite the same, similar to us as sisters.

Each piece carries the markings of time, touch, and intention. We work slowly and carefully, honoring both the process and the people behind it. It’s not about chasing trends; it’s about holding onto something real.

Oursin means “sea urchin” in French. It’s our quiet nod to the sea, to the raw and the beautiful, to the idea that what’s spiky on the outside can hold something delicate at its core. We believe in duality. In contrast. In complexity. And in keeping home close to your heart, both where it is, and wherever you go.
